The Clown Spirit Fellowship is a 6-month cohort-based fellowship designed to support individuals interested in Clown, who see themselves as transformative leaders with unique contributions to offer the world.

Fellows will join a community of practice, receiving mentorship, small group coaching, and access to expert teachers. They will have opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills, develop as leaders, build relationships, and engage in real-life learning with tangible outcomes.

We aim to create the conditions for community to form and for individuals to fuel their creative inspiration, allowing their potential for Clown Leadership to blossom and be fully realized.

Who is this for?

People interested in developing their clown leadership capacity.

While "clowning and leadership" is the common theme, here are some examples of how that may show up:

  • You are at a crossroads and need support to take the next step in their Clown Leadership journey.

  • You have a deep desire to serve to the Clown community but are struggling to do it alone.

  • You already have clown leadership experience and want to take your contribution to the next level.

  • You are building or want to build a business or organization that integrates clowning in some way.

Flow of the Fellowship

Duration | 6 Months

Throughout the fellowship there will be: ​​

  • Monthly whole cohort meeting

  • Weekly coaching sessions with your learning pod

  • Dream Cafés

  • Fellow-led workshops

  • Access to Masterclasses

  • Asynchronous support and guidance

Take part in:

PERSONAL EXPLORATION: Delve into personal questions and goals in your Clown journey

LEADERSHIP PROJECTS: Develop tangible projects within Clown Spirit

PRACTICAL EXPERIMENTATION: Try new ideas in a safe, supported and encouraging space

MENTORSHIP AND EXPOSURE: Receive guidance and support from experienced clowns

COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATION: Building relationships with like-minded individuals

What is expected of Clown Spirit Fellows?

Time Commitment | approximately 20 hours per month​

The Fellowship fee which can be made through working additional volunteer work hours or payments of $480/month or a combination of both.

IN ADDITION, each fellow is expected to:

  • be a paying member of Clown Spirit Village

  • show up for a weekly call (either a whole cohort meeting or smaller group coaching sessions (specific dates and times will be decided with the groups)

  • have an idea for a personal project they wish to accomplish during their fellowship.

  • help out with publicizing and managing CLOWNVERGENCE 2026

  • (if you choose) work on one Clown Spirit work project which will have a tangible, real life, outcome. We plan to try our bests to align your gifts/interests with the needs of Clown Spirit.

  • Social Media

  • Event Hosting

  • Blog Writing

  • Making Graphics

  • Creative Clown Interview (or other) Series

  • Network Marketing / Relationship Building

  • Video editing

KEY DATES

  • Deadline for submitting applications | September 1

  • Interviews with shortlisted candidates | September 7-21

  • Final selections made by Clown Spirit team | September 30

  • Start of Clown Spirit Fellowship | November 1

  • End of Clown Spirit Fellowship | Late April
